  4. A background clock utility that features alarm functions, and the
  5. ability to display the time on the current active window.

  8. Installing the program
  9. To install the program start up FILE MANAGER and move to the directory
  10. containing the file QCLOCK.EXE. Using a mouse drag the file icon displayed
  11. in the file manager window to your chosen group in file manager and 'drop'
  12. the icon into place. A small icon showing a watch should now be displayed in
  13. the PROGRAM MANAGER group. To start the program double click on the
  14. icon.

  16. The program may also be run automatically when windows starts up by
  17. following the above procedure, but place the file into the program group
  18. called STARTUP.
  19.  
  20. Using the Program
  21. When initially started the program will display a small window on screen
  22. containing the current time. To make any changes to the settings select Clock
  23. Settings from the system menu.

  27. Alarm
  28. This sets the alarm  to sound at the time that has been set. All alarm times
  29. must be set in 24hr format ie. 00:00 - 23:59.
  30.  
  31. Audio
  32. If this is set the alarm will sound using the default message beep.
  33.  
  34. Alert
  35. When the alarm sounds a dialogue box will appear on screen requiring the
  36. user to close it..

  38. Show in Active Window
  39. When this option is checked the time will be displayed on the current top
  40. window. As each window is brought to the top the time display will move
  41. between each of them.
  42.  
  43. Show in Own Window
  44. When this option is selected the time will be displayed in the Qclock window.
  45. If the window is covered the time will be hidden.
  46.  
  47. Show in Floating Window
  48. This option will display the time in the Qclock window, but will keep it visible
  49. at all times. The window will be on top even if you switch to another
  50. application.
  51.  
  52. Hourly Chimes
  53. This option will sound an alarm on each hour.
  54.  
  55. 24hr Format
  56. When checked this will display the time in 00:00 - 23:59 format.
